Rowan Clark
Founder
Rowan has a foundation degree in Countryside Management and has most recently worked as an Education Officer with the Forestry Commission. She has created and run education programmes and forest school sessions for children of all ages and abilities. She also ran inset days for teachers on learning outside the classroom.
Carol Gordon
Founder
Carol is a qualified teacher and has a history of forestry and countryside management. She was the Education Manager for the Forestry Commission Midlands district for over 15 years, providing a fantastic woodland experience for thousands of children per year through school visits and forest school sessions. Carol is also responsible for creating the very popular fairy village and sculpture walks on Cannock Chase.
Katie Busfield
Founder
On paper, she is a qualified teacher and forest school leader, an outdoor first-aider and a skilled environmental educator. Living in America for three years Katie worked as an Educator at Historic Bartram’s Garden in Philadelphia, home of John and William Bartram, America’s pioneering family of Botanists as well as working as a Naturalist at Brandywine Creek State Park in Delaware. More recently Katie has worked as Education Manager at Rugeley Power Station, where she set up and ran their Education Programme for 13 years. As part of this role Katie delivered forest school programmes at over 30 schools and ran an Environmental Education Centre for visiting school groups in the grounds of the Power Station.
