Family Fun 2019
Survival — Tuesday 23rd July
Find out what it would be like to survive in the Wild Tanglewood! Build dens, take part in an archery contest and cook some food over the campfire.
Fairies and Elves — Tues 6th August and Thurs 22nd August
Did you know Tanglewood is home to woodland fairies and elves? Meet fairy guardians, make woodland wands, create magic potions and much more!
Minibeast Magic — Thursday 8th August
Explore the magical world of minibeasts. Take part in a bug hunt and create some minibeast art to take home with you.
Dragon Adventure — Wednesday 14th August
Look for signs of these mythical beasts and learn how to become a Dragon Ranger
Booking Information
- For children aged 4—11. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
- 10.30—12 noon, £6 per child, parents free, pay on the day
- Booking is essential so please email info@tanglewooddays.com to book or call 07989 492768 - please include the names and ages of children and a contact phone number
- Meeting point: at our wood—checkout our website for directions/parking/map.
- Please note: No parking permitted outside our wood.
- Dress for the weather and woods and prepare to have fun!

Winter Wellie Warmer – Den Building and campfire cooking - February Half Term Holiday
Easter Egg Trail – Easter natural crafts in the woods followed by a trail leading to the wonderful Edward and Vintage Sweet Shop for a sweet prize!
Summer Holiday Family Fun
- Tales in Tanglewood - imaginative and creative sessions for 1-7 year olds and their parents/careers on different stories and themes e.g. Dragons, Fairies and Fairy Tales.
Halloween Workshops - October half term holiday events including potion workshops, spells, campfires and more
The Tanglewood Elves Christmas Workshop Visit the Woodland Elf House, make natural Christmas crafts, follow the Woodland Trail and find out about the Story of Spike the Christmas Tree
